Monarch Conservatory's mission is to foster a love of the arts in young people. We offer beginning, intermediate and advanced training in Dance, Theatre and Music in an organized, technique based environment. Our focus is to empower young artists to reach their potential and discover the joy of creating and performing.

We offer training in all levels of Dance (including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip-hop, lyrical and acrobatics) and Theatre (acting, improv and musical theatre) as well as Vocal and music instruction, taught by working professionals trained at some of the most prestigious facilities in the nation.

Monarch Conservatory is conveniently located in Blue Springs, MO, at 610 SW 7 Hwy. We service students all around Eastern Jackson County, including Blue Springs, Grain Valley, Oak Grove, Odessa, Lone Jack, Lee's Summit, Independence, and Buckner.

Monarch Conservatory's classrooms feature professional grade sprung floors, Marley flooring and high quality sound systems. Large viewing windows into each studio provide a wonderful opportunity for families to watch the classes.

Chloe Nitcher-Owner and Artistic Director

Chloe began her life of dance at the age of three, first studying acrobatics and gymnastics at Dave's Gymnastics Factory, then moving to competition dance at Dynamic Dance.

Her teaching career began at Dynamic when she was 15 years old, teaching beginning ballet, jazz and lyrical, and advanced acrobatics and gymnastics. She continued teaching dance at other local studios as well as choreographing competition pieces for ensembles and solo’s.

A life-long Blue Springs resident, Chloe attended Blue Springs South High School, where she was a district champion volleyball player and attended Drury University on an athletic Scholarship. Chloe is also a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor and received her training through an accredited Acro program.


Jennifer Bopp- Owner and Executive Director

Jennifer has always had a huge passion for performing arts. She has been active in the local performing arts scene since the age of 14. She has acted and worked on several plays and movies in the Kansas City area. She also helped with special effects makeup on several films which she loved doing.

Jennifer studied at Metropolitan Community College and Central Missouri State University. There she pursued a degree in fine arts with her major in Photography and a minor in Graphic Design. Since college Jennifer has had experience in Sales and Management fields where she learned great customer service relations and business management skills.

Stefanie Stevens- Competition and Recreational Instructor

Stefanie works in the Kansas City Area as a dancer and actress. She received her BA in theatre, first studying at Fort Hays State University, then at Hunter College in New York City.

While living in New York, she also attended class at the Broadway Dance Center and Steps. She currently studies with the Kansas City Ballet.

Some of her favorite roles include Judy in “A Chorus Line,” at TTIP, Minnie is “West Side Story” with Spinning Tree Theatre, and Caroline in “Help Yourself” for David Wayne Reed Productions. Stefanie has choreographed for several musicals in the area, including “Godspell” at Missouri Western State, and for numerous award winning dance teams as well.

Ashley Onstott - Ballet and Accessible Dance Instructor

Ashley Onstott was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. At the age of 17 she moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where she began her career as a professional ballet dancer. While dancing with Ballet West from 1996 to 2001 Ashley also completed her BFA in Ballet and her BS in Anthropology graduating with honors. In 2001, she moved to New York, New York where she continued her career as a ballet dancer and teacher. In 2002, she entered the fitness profession as a personal trainer and soon became a group fitness instructor as well. Ashley holds national certifications from the American Council on Exercise and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. In addition, Ashley is certified in Pilates, Yoga and Zumba. In 2005, Ashley moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she continued her career in fitness, completed her MS in Exercise Science and Health Promotion and continued teaching ballet. In 2016 Ashley founded an adult ballet team including absolute beginners, retired professionals and everyone in between. Her team took first place overall in a 2016 international competition. Ashley's favorite moment as a dancer was standing on stage with her accessible ballet students as they received a standing ovation in world famous Smith Center in Las Vegas. Ashley now lives in Blue Springs and is honored to be part of the Monarch Conservatory of Performing Arts.

Ayana Roberson- Competition and Recreational Instructor

Ayana Roberson, born and raised in Kansas city, Missouri, has been dancing since the age of 3.

She started learning at Expressions in Dance before moving over to Heart of America Dance Centre. She took part in HADC's competitive team as well as their Youth Ballet company where she danced lead roles such as Waltz Queen in The Nutcracker. Ayana went on to continue her training at the University of Missouri-Kansas City where she graduated with her BFA in performance and choreography with an emphasis in modern.

She has had the pleasure of being in works choreographed by Gary Abbott, DeeAnna Hiett, and Sabrina Madison-Cannon, as well as others. She's also performed alongside Störling Dance Theater's company members in their production of Underground for two seasons.

Monique Lane- Competition and Recreational Instructor

Monique Lane has been involved in professional dancing since tearing up the floor as a NBA Oklahoma Thunder Girl and lighting up the NFL field as a Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blue dancer.

Monique is a graduate of Sumner Academy of Arts & Science in Kansas City, KS. After graduating, she attended Johnson County Community College and was a member the Golden Girls Dance Team. With a heart and passion for helping others, Monique uses her gift of dance to help build self-esteem in young kids, spending countless hours instructing and leading students in dance and tumbling programs.

Monique was the former Director of the Kansas City Twisters Dance team, dancing for KC’s very own professional basketball team; the Kansas City Tornadoes .

Hallie Robinson - Competition and Recreational Instructor

Hallie Robinson started her dance career when she was just three years old. She began assisting her dance teachers in class at age twelve, cultivating her teaching skills and creating her own teaching style. 

Hallie has been with Monarch since its inception, first as a student, then as a teacher. Hallie spent several years dancing competitively at Monarch, persevering through an injury and coming back with an even greater passion for dance after being away from it. She quickly became a role model for younger students spent any time she could at the studio.

Hallie now teaches hip hop, musical theater, jazz, lyrical, ballet, and technique at Monarch. Her experience as a dancer and navigating the world of competitive dance allows her to inspire, encourage, and push her students in a way that gives them the confidence to perform their best on stage. She is a cosmetologist, applying her creative skills and knowledge of cosmetology to dance and the arts.

Sydney Jackson- Competition and Recreational Instructor

Sydney Jackson is based out of Kansas City Missouri. She has been dancing and training since the age of 5. She started as a competition dancer winning many awards and recognition for her dancing. This lead to her transition into the professional/commercial side of dance and choreography.

Sydney is currently training with Ipush, and Kinfigure Kollective where she continues to improve and grow her skills as a dancer and artist. She is also the co-creative/choreographer for a youth contemporary performance group based in Kansas City. Sydney is trained in multiple styles of dance including hip-hop, contemporary, jazz, ballet and tap. Her main love is commercial choreography, hip hop, and choreographing dance pieces in those styles. When Sydney is not busy dancing she enjoys photography, and writing.

Sara Green- Music Director & Instructor

Sara is an experienced music educator with a Master's degree in Arts Education. She has been teaching music from Pre-K to 4th grade for 20 years. She is also the mother of a Monarch student.

Sara strives to provide a positive, welcoming musical learning environment for students of all ages. Her outlook is that music is first meant to express oneself and to be enjoyed. Instilling a sense of curiosity, sense of ownership, and love of music is her goal for students of all ages.
